This is a combined theoretical and practical course in design, synthesis and analysis of block copolymers and supra-molecular assemblies. Systems include: lipo- or polymer modified block polypeptide  and nanogels for application in drug delivery applications. The student will learn: major (block) living copolymer synthesis routes (anionic, ATRP), analysis with advanced spectrometry and physical chemical instrumentation (e.g. GPC, ATR-FTIR, circular dichroism, ellipsometry and Langmuir-blodgett monolayer experiments).
